Hello everyone. My wife and I bought our 2003 Mach 1 this February 2006. Had a 97' GT from 1998 to 2002. We had to do some vehicle shuffling so the GT had to go. Couldn't shake the bug so I traded my 2000 Chevy truck in at a local dealer for the Mach 1. I miss my truck for hauling stuff. But at least I can use my dads SUV whenever I need to.
Anyway, I've been reading a lot about ways to modify my Mach 1 for power but need a ton of advise. So... off I go to search the forum. See ya!

Hello everyone! I just found this site and thought I'd sign up. I've been a Mustang fanatic for as long as I can remember, probably since the first time I ever saw one. I begged my dad to get one for me when I started driving but had to wait til I could afford it myself. I bought my first Mustang when I was 19 - a light blue 81. I had it only a few short months when I found myself falling in love with a darker blue 89 LX. I just had to have that car, so I traded in my 81 for it. As fate would have it, a short year and a half later, a fire started in my steering column while I was driving. Poor thing was totalled and I was completely devastated!! I've had a fear of buying another one ever since until a couple months ago. My husband said I should just go get one if that's what I wanted... Now I'm an extremely excited and proud owner of a black '06 GT Premium 5-speed coupe. It's been two weeks since I got my new baby and I can't stop smiling! Eleven years was a long wait, but it was well worth it!!!
hmm, i have an 05 GT, my wife has an 06 4.0, but we have never heard of any brake problems with the 05 or 06 models. it may be a defect from a certain factory, as some vehicles are made in certain regions of the states, others in different factories. but if the head mech at the dealership couldnt figure out what is goin on, then there is definitely somethin strange goin on, or he just shouldnt be the head mech. im in kuwait right now, so i dont know if they are available yet, but if they are, check to see if chilton's has an issue out for the 05-06 models. if they do, they should have the answer to the problem
