Default hey my problem

hello ive registered to this forum because i own a 2002 Ford Mustang 3.8L and ever since my recent ex got into the driver seat and stomped on the gas pedal when my car got stuck in her front yard my car has made a sqweaking sound under the hood and when the sqweaking gets real bad the car wants to kill but after i run the car for awhile it stops sqweaking. i replaced the serpentine belt, alternator, ran oil treatment. the sound seems to be coming from the front of the engine i dont know what else to do i sprayed a lil bit of PBS lubricant on the bearings and that did nothing.

Only squeaking sound I had once under the hood eventually turned out to be a sparkplug that popped out. Air from the combustion chamber pushed its way passed the sparkplug, making it sound as if something that usually turns was squeaking.

exactly why wifey doesn't drive my vehicles. maybe dirt/mud got into a bearing on one of your pulleys..? I'd spray wd40/pb blaster/lithium grease, etc... into the bearings on the pulleys. check and make sure everything is nice and tight like it should be, etc.... and the best permanent fix one the squeaking is gone........drum roll please...... don't let gf/wife/etc..... drive your car!

The only advice I can offer is what was mentioned above......don't let anyone, gf or wife, drive your vehicle(s).

Welcome to the site.

welcome

as 95 BLOWN GT mentioned above, try the tech section....I'm sure someone might be able to offer more opinions on what to check to get your squeaking noise taken care of.

Hello, welcome. On the noise, also check the belt tensioner.
