Hello Enthusiasts,
I am about to start my first resto and thought I would start here with my find. A 1979 mustang I found in a farmer's field, he was going to have it hauled to the wreckers and my garage is empty I have always wanted to dress up am old mustang, and look forward to hearing from people, will submit pics soon.

 

Should also add the 79 is a 4 cyl all there but has been sitting for yrs, want to go performance route with an 8 cyl swap thinking 302 or something similar, any comments?

 

Welcome to the site. A friend of mine also has a '79 that started out life as a 4 cylinder. He transplanted a V8 in there, but I'm not what sure it is at the moment.
