I don't have pics yet to upload. That will change tommorrow.
I (today) have just purchased a 1965 coupe. 200 6 cyl, automatic. For this area of the country it's in great shape. It needs new floor pans and the subframe rails need attention. Other than that it rides and looks pretty smooth. I could use some help though. The VIN on the door doesn't back up the story the previous owner gave me. Where under the hood of my 65 might I find the VIN to compare to the one on the door, in case the door was replaced at one time?
The current door plate shows that the car was Honey Gold Metallic, the interior was Ivy Gold Crinkle Vinyl, and it came with a 289 2v V8. All of which are not in the car presently.

Your VIN on your classic is located either on the door frame, undun on the inner fender next the shock tower, underneath the fender on the passenger side fender and on your registration papers. Come to the Classis section so we old guys can talk to you.
