Default Not a mustang, but mustang powered!

Hey all. New to the forum. Figured since I am upgrading my drive train this would be a good forum for me to join. I own a 95 Ford Ranger that has been slightly modified. Will be getting a 302 and T5 stuffed in her in the next couple of weeks. Just picked the motor and trans up this weekend. Got a 302 out of a 79 F-100, and a transmission out of an 83 5.0 Mustang. Got great deals, so I am pretty pumped to get the rest of the stuff I need and start getting it put together. Pics at the end of post for all to see.

A little about me, married, 3 kids, live in Abilene, KS and LOVE FORDS!!!! Actually saw several mustangs headed north towards Topeka last night on my home with the motor and trans. Couldn't help but stare as we passed by. Anyway, will be spending some time around asking questions, and giving advice if I have any to offer, and appreciate any help I can get. I am pretty new to messing with the motor and trans department, but I am surely getting better. I know enough to get me by.

I will surely begin a build thread for everyone to see because I know most are like me and like to see progress of peoples builds.

Welcome bro. Nice truck. I use to have a 89 B2200 on hydraulics, shaved and rolling on 18s. Man I miss that truck. I was going to go the same route as you with the 302 but ended up selling it to a guy that never paid me the rest of the money and then crushed the truck. Needless to say I hope to see him on the streets one day. Lol. Good luck and keep us posted.

Damn, that sucks. I love the old Mazda's. They look killer laid out. My buddy has one that will be getting reworked once we are done with mine.
