really frustrated

I have a 1995 mustang gt. I put a 351 Windsor in it with all Edelbrock top end. It ran good for about 3500 miles then can teeth got messed up and wiped out the distributor gear. I changed cam and put in an msd distributor. The car is fuel injected. It won't run just pops and sputters. When I could get it to start it would back fire like it was out of time. I rechecked all the timing several times. I changed computer. The one i put in came out of a car that was running with in 15 minutes of being installed into my car. Same problem still. I changed ignition module. And ever part i can think of except the injectors. Would bad injectors make it do this?
