My 1989 Mustang convertible LX500 Anniversary Edition - manufactured in 1989 with the anniversary logo is breaking my heart.

My husband wants me to call the junkyard and have it towed. It failed the smog test.

Got it with 7 miles on the odometer. Parting with it is painful.

lol Any car lover words of wisdom for letting go would be appreciated.

That sucks. Instead of junking it, try selling it..I'm sure someone would want it.

Yeah don't junk that what the hell is wrong with your husband lol. Those are worth money now days! It can be fixed to pass, just take a little money and some time shopping on American Muscle.

Contact some of the local Mustang Clubs I know there are lots in Cali someone will buy it for sure!
