I really dont care for any brand bashing non sense i would just like to see if what happened to me wasnt just a freak race.

I have a 2000 gt coupe 5spd. Only thing done to it is its been lowered 1.5in. In a computer simulated race i ran a 2000 z28 vert starting at about 70mph and got to run till about 110mph, not a long race because of traffic in the simulator. But i was side by side with him and maybe got my nose like a foot ahead of his by the end... but i figured it wouldve walked off on me because i know the ls1's arerated at like 40-45hp or so more. Sure they weigh more but still. I know coupes of em run low thirteens stock with a good driver.

Was it just freak race or is it fairly common to stay nose to nose from a roll with one? If it had not been a vert im sure it woudve walked me. It had a catback at least because i saw the quad exhaust tips in the center and it was fairly loud.

 

I don't see that happening in the real world lol.

But who knows, maybe his car isn't maintained and yours is. Good kill

Yeah, or he somehow just sucked that bad at driving. It was basically dead even. And no way it was a v6. I had to work on and drive a v6 fbody... terrible.... you get the low quality plastic with door panels that feel like theyll break at any second... and you also get very little speed as a bonus lol ls1 makes the f body what it is.
