Thats the truth. Cant find anyone with one that would run. Ive been thinking of getting 3.73s for itto help it out. How big a difference does it makein these cars? .2 or .3 seconds in the quarter or eighth?

Gears are always the biggest bang for the buck mod you can do to any car that was equipped with highway gearing. Newer cars are improving thou. What gear are you running now?

Also, sticky tires are going to be needed, it's no fun sitting there spinning and watch there tailights walk away. Especially since your running a manual. That old saying is very true……"if your spinning, your not winning"

And count on at LEAST .5 sec improvement in the 1/4, again with gears and good tires.

I have the stock 3.27 gears now. Spinning aint winning is very true. I had a 2000 gt and only had a tune, lowered and 18 inch wheels with nitto nt 555 street tires and ran a best of 9.13@77. And come to find out slightly later one of my rear calipers was ever so slightly stuck on. Not enough to really affect things but enough i believe i couldve at least done 9.0X which was my goal. 2.1X sixty times i could pull off everytime almost
