Default hello from CT

hello everyone! So I'm in the market for a new car. It seems right now I can afford the v6 but am deciding if i should wait for 2015 or get a 2014. The 14 I like the most. I'm new to the mustang world so this would be my first one. Any of you pros got some tips or general info that can help me with my choices or options worth getting?

Welcome to the forum.

What are your intentions with this Mustang, Daily driver with fuel mileage being a concern, or maybe a couple track days with performance top priority. Tell us about yourself, then someone can give more accurate advice. Good luck and congrats when you get it. You really can't go wrong.

Well I'm 35 years old, I like walks on the beach...lol. Sorry j/k It's going to be my daily driver. Gas is a concern, but I live my five miles from work and 15 miles from the University I got to. I am coming from a turbo mitsu that was giving me 18-20 mpg on premium so realistically 18-20 on regular gas is still a savings. I like some power, but don't really have time for track and that kind of stuff. More of an exterior kind of guy. I do car audio and that kind of work so nav and shaker systems options don't really matter to me. I love the sound of a V8, but it's out of my price range. I've had 2 V8 Trans Ams that I loved. Performance wise I'd probably do an intake an the meanest exhaust I can get. Nothing sounds better than a mustang with a great exhaust. Concerned that the v6 won't sound as great, but don't have much of a choice right now. I have kids, but they are older so car seats and such don't matter. At most a booster my youngest is 7 but tiny. RWD is a concern in the snow for me, but I have access to a 4wd vehicle

Thanks everyone for the welcoming. So I've been in and out of dealerships and it seems to be hard to find one the way I want it. I was thinking of going used maybe 2011 and up. What I really like about the 14 is the tail lights. It seems they can be switched so maybe I can go up to a gt if I look at 11's. What do you guys out there think?
