Hi Im a new member
I have just completed the change over of running gear from a 1998 coupe 4.6 v8 with auto.
In to a 1994 v6 with auto, convertible body .
one problem encountered is when I lowered the rear end from axel stands oil came out the tail shaft seal , it seems to be about a 2 mm gap all round .could this be I kept the wrong drive shaft. the one I kept measures 38 mm dia on input shaft
Imput shaft 130 mm in length.
drive shaft 1120mm in length.
driveshaft dia 90mm.
Has F O Z AA
4034-26 stamped on it
tailshaft housing inside measurement is 63mm
does any one know the correct inside measurement for the shaft seal against shaft .
many thanks, Denis
