Default First Stang

So I recently took ownership of my first mustang and I had a few questions about durability.

I have the 3.8l v6 with the 4 speed auto.
Its done about 106k miles so far.

Is there anything that I need to look out for?

Welcome to the forum.

You need to look out for the same things you would look out for on any vehicle with that mileage. The better you are about normal maintenance - the better the car will be.

Welcome to the forum, congrats on your new stang.

The only problem with the 97's was the paint quality on the hoods, the paint would peel off at high speeds exposing the factory white primer.

That was the least of my worries. My car was effected by the recall Ford had to do with the hoods peeling off at speed, but never took part in it. It scared the crap out of me.
