Default Check engine light

Hello this is my first time being on the forums. I have a 1997 gt 5 speed I am custom making my exhaust and taking off the cats in the process. Is there any way that I could bypass the check engine light from coming on? Thank you

Ok thanks how do you like the 373 gears? Or should I go with the 410. Also have you heard anything about the Pypes m80 mufflers? I bought some according to reviews everyone loves them but still curious to why they were so cheap.
