This is the second Mustang I have owned - just got a 2015 3.7L this past weekend. While I would have loved the 5.0, I have to be a bit pragmatic.. lol
Last Mustang I owned was about 24 years ago - it was a 1984 Foxbody with the 2.3 in it. While it had little power - I still loved that car all the same. No matter how hard I drove it - it just kept running and running.
Finally... got around to it. See, I got this just prior to a two week vacation. I'm SO glad I traded in that Dart. This car is so much more capable, solid, and stable..
Think I'm going to get the Windows tinted - if there's anything I miss about the Dart, it's that, lol.
I was surprised at how much I was able to cram into the car with the backseats down... but I think I'll get a receiver on this and one of those rear-end luggage racks for anymore trips.
Was a blast taking it on this trip, but I have a bit of sand to vacuum out now. Buying those extra floor mats was more than a win though
And nice rides guys There are a lot of prime machines on these forums. I must admit, I like all of the body styles of the Mustangs. Even the Mustang II - it wouldn't be my first choice if I could have any, lol - but for it's time and many of the other cars from the Mid 70's, it was still nice.
