Default Bought a 2000 Mustang

Hey guys bought a 2000 mustang v6 for $4000 came with 6 month warranty new clutch premium trim mach 460 stereo ac and the usual

it was overall in good condition with only 82 000 miles so it was a pretty good deal

Too the point now i do not expect this to be a fast car but just wanted to know what mods i should do budget is around 2000 and i was thinking performence and visual mods some ideas were wheels, exhaust; strut tower brace; 3.73s, and sound system holding on to this car for 5 years minimum so i can save up for A GT any suggestions or should i just replace what breaks and save even more for a GT also have been doing all maintenance so im doing all fluids checking breaks replacing filters and checking suspension and bushings/ joints i want this car to last and to take good care of it

Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your Mustang. Looks very clean, and at a very good price too.

All other questions, check out the Tech section, use the Search feature and you'll be reading for days on mods and upgrades. Good luck

It does look very nice, I put 200,000 Miles on mine, and it still looked and ran like new with very few minor problems. 373s are nice, you'll do a little more shifting in traffic and lose a little mileage.

Looks very clean there.

Should have a lot of life left in it.

3:73 is probably best bang for the buck for improving performance. Maybe a cat-back system. I wouldn't put too much into it.

thanks for all the replies glad to have other enthusiast to rely on unfortunately their is a howl in my rear end it whines in all gears and gets louder at faster speeds and quieter at lower speeds so i assume its either my diff bearings or my ring and pinion maybe both called a shop 375 to get 3.75s installed that includes labour and everything or 750 to do bearings and gears so hopefully its just my ring and pinion that needs to get replaced
