Hey all
I am an automotive technician with multiple Ford certifications. After 30 plus years in the game I now work for Shelby Canada West. Great gig building Shelby vehicles. Doing a 2016 Super Snake right now, 850 horse Coyote. The first Canadian 2015/2016 Super Snake. Just finished 1 of 5 Canadian Baja 700s.
Just purchased a 79 Pace Car for a great price. It was my boss's, it was part of the Great Canadian Barn Find (do a google search). It was inside his trailer when the trailer was stolen. They found the car a couple weeks later spray bombed blue and black. There were also a couple things stolen from the interior. He was going to pull the engine and scrap the rest. ? Offered him a couple grand and he said yes.
The car has no rust and has been 'slightly' modified. It sure needs some TLC though, been sitting too long. It has a B&M blower, a wet nitrous system, Holley 80670-3, 8.8 inch w/ 4 wheel discs, transgo prepped trans, roll bar, 5 point harness... It starts and runs great, too much snow for a test drive.
Too bad it's not factory but hey, I can live with it. ;o)
Hope I can spread some of my knowledge around and gain some while I'm here. Learning lots about early Mustangs and Shelbys from the boss.
