Default Just ordered a 2016

The wife wanted a yellow 2016 with a V6 and stick shift. Had to order it, because there was only one available in the entire district, and it had absolutely no options on it, not even a spare tire. I'm just south of Dallas.

Funny thing. We've been married 43 years and have had a lot of cars. We got to thinking about our all-time favorite cars, the ones we'd like to have back, and almost all of them were sticks. A 1978 Ford Fiesta. A 1982 Pontiac Phoenix. A 1984 Pontiac Firebird (one of the rare four-cylinders, with a 5-speed). She decided she wanted a yellow Mustang with a stick shift. Now we just have to remember to put the clutch all the way to the floor (a no-no in a truck) and not to double clutch (or shift without the clutch).

Is this "sticking it" to her?

I'm a new '16 stick owner, though I bought the ecoboost. LOVE the ride and the entire driving experience, your wife will definitely enjoy hers! I went to Katy, TX for the stick, there were none in my area, plus they beat the list price by $3k.

What's your pictured ride? Is that a '43 or older?

1926 Ford Tudor Sedan. One of Henry Ford's "word jokes." He called the two-door sedan the "Tudor," and the four-door sedan the "Fordor." If they have a Ford owner loyalty incentive on the Mustang, I should get it, right?
