I am new to this forum, I'm a member of the GT500 forum and post their also. I have owned Mustangs since the late 80's. Currently I had 4 now I'm down to three getting rid of my 03 Mach1 recently. My favorite of course is my GT500 but I love my 86 GT convertible for just putting around. I also have a one of a kind 1990 Mustng LX 7-up 5 speed convertible 5.0 with 15k on it but I a putting that up for sale. Shoot me an e-mail if you would like more information on the 7-up. Thanks for welcoming me and my passion for Mustngs.
So I decided to make a Hellcat destroyer, first I bought the 2014 GT 500. Then I installed a Borla ATAK cat back exhaust. Now it sounds like a GT500 should. Now I'm putting on a twin jet 67mm Throttle, JLT 123 mm CAI, SCT X4 Custom tune and a VMP 2.4 pulley. I am looking for close to 750hp. I'll know by next Wednesday. Fingers crossed...
The GT500 is a ton Of fun but not something you can drive everyday, it's to much power for driving around. I settled for a 86 GT Convertible as my daily driver, not much power but it runs smooth and still has that V8 rumble. My 1990 7-up I never drive unless I'm taking it to a car show. It just hit 14,800 miles. Time to sell it.. Hit me up if your looking for a rare convertible.

I had a place called Ferras in Wynanskill install the Borla ATAK cat backs, then they just finished today putting on the new pulley, 67mm throttle, JLT CAI and the SCT 4 tune. Picking it up tomorrow. I'll post my you tube video of the before and after next
Not sure about the stripes. Here's a pic of the before and after. I installed also a 2013-2014 GT Stage 4 Power Pack (100+RWHP) by VMP. All I can say is it's awesome now!
