Default BELT SIZE

Hey guys need some help! Ok so I did some swapping my old motor had no a/c or smog pump, took for ever to find a belt, now my new engine has a/c, p/s, and no smog, all factory pullies and was wondering if anyone new the belt size or have a part number I have run into so many belts and they either to short or to long, I did find one belt that worked but problem is its to thin it's not wide enough parts store told me they don't have one that size in a thicker belt, I know they make it can anyone help me

Take a rough measurement with a string. Take that # along with the old belt to the parts store. If the guy /gal behind the counter is good, they'll get you something that will work. Belt part #'s are actually just the length/width of that belt.

And if you have any other questions, post them in the Tech section for your year Mustang. That's where these types of questions should go.
