Hello, all. I'm Chuck Webb and I'm a potential new Mustang owner. I found the forum in the course of researching the new Mustang and found it a valuable resource for answering my newbie questions. Thank you to all who provide their knowledge and experience. I'm looking at the V6 at this point because I want a compromise between fuel mileage and reliability. Frankly, I can't stand the sound of the Ecoboost and I'm not too trusting of a little engine putting out high HP, but that's just me. The V6 seems to have a good track record for reliability, and I'm too old to need maximum performance anyway. Thanks again.

Are you looking at new?

I've owned the 3.7 litre v-6 for 3-1/2 years and really love it. Plenty of power and decent gas mileage.

I also would shy away from eco-boost. Not sure what problems will show up years down the line.
