Default exhaust help!

I have just bought a 2007 Mustang GT. It currently has a Borla atak cat back system on it, but I want it to be louder. I do not want to go Catless and have to worry about tuning and other stuff like that. Are there any other modifications that I can do to increase the sound without a tune needed?

Not really, that is one of the loudest exhaust systems on the market.

If I put on an x-pipe and get a tune, the only thing the tune is doing is clearing the 02 sensor codes right? No other codes will be thrown and it won't mess up anything right?

If you have a cat back, you should already have an x-pipe. Don't know about the tune, not a big fan as they cause more trouble than they are worth.

Default My 2 cents

I can shed some light on your inquiry, I have a 2010 GT, with an off road x-pipe and catback, going with the OR-X pipe (catless) will require a tune to turn off the 02 sensors and prevent dash lights. This setup will also give you the most increase in sound. There is a option of going with a high flow cat x-pipe that will operate without a tune, but you may be disappointed with the sound increase if that's what you're after. Hope this helps in your decision making!
