I just picked up a 66 mustang with the 200 6 and I'm looking to do some work to it, not a full resto yet but enhance the drivability of it. It has been parked for the last 20 years but the previous owner tuned it up last year drove it for a minute and then decided to sell. It's in pretty good shape! It does have some rust around the rear fender wells but the floors and trunk are solid. It has a new radiator, gas tank, fuel pump, plugs, wires cap and rotor, points, powersteering pump and I just rebuilt the power steering valve. It drives pretty good but needs brakes and wheel bearings in the front. I got quite a bit of new stuff with it. New carpet, headliner, visors, gauge cluster, kick panels and door cards (a whole door) 2 bumpers and I got the original shop manual. They had also redone the seats as well! Not a bad deal for $3900

Thanks! I'm about to put in the carpet and headliner I got with the car and i also just ordered a dual bowl mastercylinder with powerbooster. Got to get some power brakes in this thing! At first I wanted to rebuild the straight 6 that's in it and beef it up but man after looking at parts prices it would cost 5k! So I found a 302 that I'm gonna put in it.

 

U R RIGHT TO TRASH THE 6 . U WILL LIKE THE 302. BUT GET THE BRAKES FIRST
