Hello, I just bought my first mustang yesterday from offer up. It's a 2000 GT (Cobra wanna-be) 5spd convertible with a 4.6 and single turbo. I bought the car not running (For next to nothing). I noticed the car had nice parts on it like a Precision Turbo. BBK throttle body, Aluminum radiator, All aeromotive fuel stuff, Brembo Brakes etc. The owner said the car was tuned for e85 and he put 93 in it because he was lazy then the car quit at a red light.

I either thought he was potentially bs-ing me or.... maybe that's what happened and he doesn't know much about cars (couldnt answer simple questions like turbo size or even what engine it was). I was able to get the car to barely turn over (after I paid him in case it did fire up) with my jumper cables but no fire. It was really hot out and getting late so I called a tow truck and went back home (My house is 10 mins up the road). As I was sitting on the couch patiently awaiting my new toy then... I get a message from him saying "Hey the tow truck guy just started the car and moved it"

The car shows up at the house and with the tow truck guys battery jump box it comes to life!!! Running dog rich from putting an e85 worth of 93 in the engine I backed it into the garage and put her to bed. SCORE!

Since it was someone elses build I have a lot of shaking down to do on it but its a cool platform to start!

I have lots of questions about the car but I'm going to do some digging on the forum before I ask.
