Default Power drainage while car is off

Left ignition key on to open window recently and forgot to turn off ..two hours later card was deader than a door nail...new battery was already installed so I jumped it ran it a while and charged fully 24 hours later dead. Super dead. Anyway checked for power draw and found 175 ohms drawing when off. Was told should be only around 38....... could something have happened with ignition to cause problem..need help...

"OHMS drawing" makes no sense electrically. How did you obtain this number, and what do you think it means? closest I can come is that a LOAD having 175 Ohms resistance placed across a 12-volt battery would cause a CURRENT draw of over 15 AMPS; lots of current.

38, then, would be even worse.....?????????????

unplug your radio fuse

that's what drained my battery
(it's a common issue for those years)
