1986 5.0, stock pistons,,trick flow fast as cast 58cc heads, trick flow streetburner intake, jobber A9L, ProM mas air conversion, 75mm tb, Comp270 Magnum cam, 30 lb injectors. shorty headers. Idles at 1200 rpm,pos out exhaust at times, Havened driven it yet, still snow on the ground. Whats wrong with my combo?

 

Your combo sounds ok, but it's hard to say without some more information. How are your a/f's? Fuel pressure? Are you using an aftermarket ignition? All sorts of little things can cause issues. I know the a9l's are ok with some modifications but I'm not sure how well they react to different cams, that could cause idle issues, or you could have a vacuum line missing or something.
