Mustang newbee
New to Mustangs, not new to restoration. I have a 1966 base coupe that I am starting on, it belonged to a high school buddy and I used to ride/drive around in as a teenager and young adult.
It has a 20 footer paint job on it (I don't care) and I an doing some sheet metal work (floorboards, torque boxes, battery area apron) I will be asking some questions that to some of you may seem stupid, thats OK, I will
take the flack and move on. I have a 347 cid small block, TKX 5-speed and 9 inch going in it (already purchased). thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum. You will probably find some help in the section for classics like the 1966.
My first Mustang was a 1965 triple black convertible that I had to tow home. Rebuilt the top of the 289, new clutch, put the spark plug wires back in the correct firing order and the car ran great. Drove it all through college years.
