Default Hello, New to this board

This is my fist time on a mustang board. Believe it or not I've been running mopars for the past 19 years and I decided it was time for a change. I still have a 72 Challenger, 73 Duster, and a 76 Dart Swinger I also have an 89 Mustang LX with a 2.3 liter. I never was really a Ford person till I started working fleet vehicles and realized that the I was working on the dodges and chevys more than the fords, and our ford vehicles out numbered our gm and dodge 5 to 1. Go figure Ford must have a better build quality. Anyway I married into the mustang, my wife bought it new as a poor collage kid that couldn't splurge on the 5.0. The little 4 banger has 160,000 miles on the clock and still runs strong never let us down. I'm a car guy but stuck with mopars cuz thats really all I know. My wife wants to start racing and I figured I would breath new life into her mustang with a V8 transplant and I hope to get help to learn more about Fords. Thanks
