Wassup???
It's 50 degrees F here (in NY), and it's January... what the schmuck is going on??? :-). Not that I'm complaining... but anywho.
I've got a 99 GT. It beats the 87 supra turbo, 96 jetta, 01 GTI, and 03 A4 3.0... hands down (as far as fun to drive). It is my only car now... though I do miss my first car = 63 ghia sometimes.. :-).Kept my GT stock for 5 years... in 04 put slotted brembo rotors.. and green stuff on all fours... and added a vortech S/C w/intercooler. Since then the car's amazing in the warm weather... but I'm battling some cold weather issues. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon.... and get back to adding MORE MODS... :-).
Next on my list = new suspension (possibly lower)... and thinking about y2k 18" cobra R's.

Thanks everyone! :-)...
I actually put the cobra bumper on after the GT bumper met a guardrail when stupidly driving in 3 inches of snow (winter of 99) :-). I had the bra on which was full of ice. The bumper pretty much cracked in half, with no damage to the rest of the car. It sucked... Cobra bumper was cheaper and I knew someone who'd paint it for cheap... so I went with it. For four years I actually hated having a car that 'looked' faster than it was... (if that makes sense)... but I knew I'd get the S/C some day... now at least it looks about as fast as it is. :-)
