Pretty quick for a V6 is really what I said. The keyword w/ that car is "MANUAL SHIFT!!!!" He had an 02 mustang w/ an automatic and he would kill the '02 w/ the '03. Amazing how fast a manual shift can make a car. He would be lucky to chirp the tire in first gear in the '02, in the '03 it would "spin the tire". Most of my family has V6 or 4 banger powered cars(and the '03 was the *fastest* v6 car I ever rode in), w/ the exception of me, and now my grandpa. Thanks for the welcomes everyone, glad that im not getting flamed for being a Buick person. I don't know which car is faster now(my buick w/ the 350-2 buick motor or his GT stang), I know the mustang is faster on take off and probably even top end. I would smoke him if he had either one of the V6 mustangs still w/ the buick, but now that he has the GT, it's a different story. He has a lot more advantages over me in the GT. It has posi, 5 speed, waaaaaaay lighter car, and is probably getting more power to the rear wheels than I am. I have a 3 speed TH-350 automatic, peg legger(2.56 rear), and a little over 4000 pound car w/ me in the driver seat! I am not sure what his main goals for the stang are, but I know that for the buick, it's a future 350-500 hp street car. All I can say is the competition has already started between himself and I.[8D]
