Hey Everyone!

I'm new to the forums thanks for letting me be a part of this site. I pick up my 2006 Ford Mustang GT Convertible next week in triple black. However, my wife does not want me to buy
it because she thinks its unsafe in winter seasons. I'm trying to convince her it is a safe car with all the modern technology any thoughts on this so I can show her the responses.

Thanks guys for the welcome. She is concerned about the car being RWD her father wrapped his 86 Cougar around a telephone pole one winter. Thanks for the input.

well, considering that car is 20 years old it doesn't have all the goodies like the new one has...like traction control for starters, and you can always get blizzak winter tires for when it snows....I have set on my 'tour and they make a rather noticable difference.

Welcome! Who cares about the wife! If you're paying for it, you're sure as heck allowed to have whatever you want!

My future hubby will never ever say I can't have my car.

But anyways, enjoy the new ride. And if you're wondering about some features of the car, ask some of the 05/06 guys in the tech forum. There's a few that have driven theirs in the snow.
