Yeah, I think they do put synthetic. Taurus going in next.. I have a REAL SAFETY issue with the SHO..Not happy!!

 

what happened?

 

I had just merged on to I90 and was getting up to speed, was passing someone and went into the fast lane, I pushed on the gas and the car wouldn't go any faster for a couple seconds, I couldn't get above 60, it was like the transmission just froze. Finally, it got going but it scared the **** out of me. If someone had been coming up behind me, it would have been pretty serious. I googled and found others have had the same issue and some people get a fix and others just keep having the problem over and over.

 

Oh, and an extra hour and 1/2 labor for the Mustang to get the Turbo pipe off that is in the way of the transmission. This sucks!

What is WRONG with this picture?? Both my cars in the shop on the same day with issues. And yes, that is another SHO next to the Lime so lots of Turbos gathered round. And you can't see him but RiceEater was on the other side of the SUV..It was almost a car show at Metro today!

BTW..Their answer was this was normal and they couldn't find anything wrong. I'll be filing my complaint with Ford tomorrow.
