That looks like a bullit intake? You said it's a V6 right?

 

The intake manifold is something my dad came up with. He got it from Australia, as I undertand, it is something they are using on an Australian Ford car. ( I forget now what it was) What I do know is that we had to have a machine shop modify the intake to fit our application. (not to mention redoing the whole block)

As you can see, we had to relocate a lot of stuff to make it work. One of my dad's ex-racing buddies that now lives in AU came up with the whole setup. This is not a kit ya can buy anywhere so far as I know.

Ok, im a SERIOUS Mustang guy. I work on them all day long and i know them very well.

I would like you to get in depth with a few things for me ok.

1. Just noticed you didnt list youre OPTIMA battery on youre mod list. Also you have a OPTIMA battery in the SC pic, but not on youre other pic.
2. Different Caster/Camber plates and Strut bar
3.The v6 doesnt have that overflow bottle or radiator hose.
4. EGR mounts in a different place on the V8 and V6 for a reason. Tell me what you had to do to get it to remount in the rear on the intake, verses in the front on a V6?
5. Alternator mounts in the center on a 281 V8, mounts to the drivers side on a V6.
6.Youre v6 pic, shows a soild Silver strip in the center of youre firewall, yet there isnt one on the SC pic.
7. No Bra on the SC picture? How come, you DO have a bra right?

ROFL!!!!! I was beginning to think i was gonna lose $100 to my friend - He did not think anyone on these forums was as much into cars as I am. Casper, ya just made me $100, he finally gave up.

OK the real scoop. There is no supercharger, and the timeslip is fake. The car runs mid to upper 14's - not bad for a v6, but it certainly does not run 13's.

I am sure this will make everyone hate me, but I guess I earned it. All I wanted was to keep my $100 that I bet Frank one night while I was drunk and decided to say hello. MaSti jumped me, Frank thought we could fool you, I thought not, and hence the bet arose.

Go ahead and kick my A** I know it's coming.

I figured something was up. I just spent an hour trying to find motor shots of Ford based austrailan cars (falcon, ts 550, .....) to no avail. i know a bullit intake when I see one, the oblong TB gives it away, alternator is the wrong spot. Casper has more experiance seeing as how he works on them all day. I knew something was up just couldn't quite get my finger on it.
