Hey I'm a member of LI Stangs alsobut Stangpede is a lot differnet than LI Stangs. Stangpede is a national mustang club (not just a forum), who has sponsors from major automotive industries and provide those sponsors will vehicle reprensentation at major vehicle shows upon request. The stangpede group is alot closer and work together to achieve a common goal. Not to mention the cars are just insanely sick to look at. :-). LI Stangs is a group of people that like to get together and show there cars which is awesome in its entirety but that's all I see from them. Check out the site and see what we're all about then give mea shout if you want to be apart of the team. I have some big plans for the NY Chapter of Stangpede

dude... you a bit off base with your comments about LIStangs IMO..... its way more than a forum... this site is a forum...
LIStangs is more about the people and friendships..... and what we do as a group.
its not a commerical enterprise as you (as I read it) are making Stangpede out to be.

will the N.Y. chapter of stangpede be open to newcomers in a year or so?
cuz thats when i get my license[:@] and inherit the mustang (which might magically grow two cylinders when its handed down to me)..

My comment about LISTANGS is correct in that it is a forum where a group of people get together andgo to local shows and stuffwhich is exactly what it I've seen from it and have participated before in as well. And you are half correct about Stangpede being interested in the commercial industry as well as beinga close family being that we supportour sponsors and there products at shows and other media inspired events. If you look at Stangpede.com you will see the 6 hour car build for the F&F 4 movie. Which is why I was distinguishing the two not bad mouthing.
