Default performance shops

Hello,
I have a 2004 Cobra and would like to start doing some mods. I live in Westchester NY near the southern border of CT. Can anyone recommend a good place to take the car in for work? I'm not looking for any bargins, just good people who know what they are doing.

Thanks

Hi, Where are you in Westchester NY. The shop I use knows what there doing. They fixed all of the problems I had with my car and added a lot more mods. The shop is in CT past the Danbary mall. From 84 on the line of CT it takes about another 15 mins max. to get there. I do not know if thats to far for you. Let me know.

I'm down in Port Chester. That's not a bad drive at all past Danbury. If you could hook me up with some names and numbers I would love to give them a call and bring the Cobra up for some work.

Thanks

If you're willing to make the extra trip out, I say try to make it to Dez Racing in Seekonk MA. Everyone I know LOVES the work they do. I'm sure there'll be a few more that post on thier work.

Deadlift,
If you want to forget about your factory warantty and want to scare yourself to death I would suggest you contact Danbury Compotition Engines in Danbury, CT. When you've paid your bill go next door and have Jeff strap DCE creation on the chassis dyno. Any FE Mustang guys in the area need to get Joe at DCE to set you up. He just did my FE 427 dual 4bbl Cobra S/C last month. I haven't stoped shakeing! Jeff at the dyno shop has a mean Mustang super stock small block. These guys know Fords!

Her is the shop I use Cruisers Vehicle Performance Experts 203-744-8863 ask for Bob tell him Mustangmike set you. He is allways working on Mustangs and Cobras. A guy I now has a 03 cobra all boltons and small as puly and ported the s/c and he dyoed 496rwd hp. Just so you know what you can get with the stock s/c.
Bob is put a 04 cobra crate motor with a whipple s/c 15psi in my mustang in the fall That should dyo around 600rwd hp[sm=badbadbad.gif]
All that you see from the pictures Bob did. The only thing he did not do is the body kit.

Mustang Mike01,
Danbury Chassi Dyno Services is located at 17 Taylor Street not far from the railroad museum. Call 203-241-7291 and ask for Jeff. His directions will be much better than mine. Tell him the guy who's grey 427 Cobra he worked on last month said to give him a call.
