Default Got the car of my dreams, 03 Cobra and I need to get it inspected, PLZ Help!

It has SLP LTH, Xpipe w/highflow cats, loudmouth and I know the state inpection will give me a hard time for how loud it is.
Where did you go/can I go to get my mustang inspected without giving me a hard time? I called around and got this guy in Lakewood who said it wouldn't be a problem, he was on the high side At $77, but I would pay it so it passes. He told me to go to his shop at 8AM, he wasn't there but some guy told me it will fail because I didn't have a license plate on the front (It was in my window and I just got the plates yesterday and I don't want to drill into the beautiful front of the cobra). I don't know where to go and I'm starting to freak out.
Thanks! NA

I'm curious about this too, I know there are shops in NJ, i would check with my club members and see if they can help you since they are locally from NJ.

I have two cars with tints and would like to pass them too.

For the license plate, have you thought about trying to use some strong (earth) magnets to hold the plate? Dont know if it will work but if they stick to your plate, try putting the magnets on the inside of the front bumper and maybe your plate will stick on the outside of the bumper?

I know there was someone with a VW that did something like that so maybe you could try it out? Goodluck.

zip tie the plate to the lower grill so you can take it off later

my car passed emissions with Long tubes and high flows, you shouldnt have a problem
