Default Mustang Wave

Have you ever had a ride with someone that has a jeep, and they have the "jeep wave"? The north east needs to start the mustang wave. If you have enough pride to drive your stang then unite and start the Mustang wave. Ya i must sound pretty gay, but going to the summer nationals this past weekend made me start thinking that we have something in common, we are proud mustang drivers. so back me up give me a little feed back, show me your support and start the wave.

actually it is an unwritten rule for mustang owners and corvette owners and harly owners to holdup a fist in solidaridy or wave to say hello, i wave to all mustangs but most of the time i do not get a wave back...some people might think its silly..but its just a friendly hello...like when your driveing along and another stang rolls up next to ya and you cruse side by side for a bit then you part ways with a friendly honk or wave...so yeah i know exactly what yer talkin about and people should do it...i think alot of tang owners just dont know about it cuse its not like it comes printed in the manual LOL

I wave to most Mustangs -- especially other 99-04s, or really clean or built earlier versions. I don't often wave to women in Stangs anymore -- most of them just don't "get it" or are too busy talking on the cell phone. (No offense intended to the very cool female Mustang owners inhabiting this and other boards however....)

I prefer to flash the high beams, and I'll usually get a wave back, or the high beams. I might throw a thumbs-up (sometimes corny) or an "A-OK" sign from time to time if it's really nice. Sometimes just a head-nod does the trick.
I definitely only wave to V8's, and usually Foxes, unless it's a newer car that "appears" to be owned/driven by an enthusiast. Alot of people in my area drive newer stangs and don't care about them or are not "enthusiasts" to the point that would ever dream of acknowledging another Mustang or see the point in it.
Too bad, really.
