Default good engine shop

im looking for a good engine shop in the mass-NH area. im looking to build a 347 stroker with a new block. any one know a good shopin my area?

are there prices pritty fair? on the site it seems like they only do chevy engines

They mainly do chevy, but they do Ford as well.
Unsure why they took down the engines they had on their site.
But I know a couple other people that had them build a Ford engine as well.
I'd just give them a call and let them know what you're looking for.

thanks man i dont have the cash yet but when i get most of it ill give them a call. still unshure exactly what i want though. when i do it though i want to try ang get the strongest parts i can get

Strongest will cost you...
They will friggin cost you.
I went about that route and i paid near 7k for my LONGblock.
Heads to the oil pan.
Including cam.
If you're interested in what it was, dig through the Any Updates On Anyone? post.
Should be near the beginning somewhere.

a guy im friends with owns tobin autoparts in pelham NH that has a machine shop under it he does all my motors (i restore cars on my free time) he builds race engines and anything you can think of. he has good prices and a hell of alot of experience.

hey has he ever rebuilt any ford contour motors? my brother wants to have his 1.8 zetec rebuilt and possibly forged/stroked. heh dont ask why, he wants to supercharge it. sorry to hijack the thread
