Default Cruises?

Anyone know when the shows/cruises are going to start? I can't wait to get into weekend shows again! I'm from the Canton area so if anyone would want to cruise around on the weekends let me know!

I would like to put one together maybe from Cbus up to Cleveland. I'm not opposed to heading up 71, taking Rt 3?(I think) thru Dalton...it would be nice to maybe put one together in May or in June.

count me in, I havent been to cleveland in ages. The only thing about 71 would be dealing with all the idiot traffic, that highway can get pretty bad so would be ideal to avoid rush hour

It's never to early to start planning....

Here's what I am thinking....have a 3 or 4 leg event, with multiple stops....but I think it'd be nice to have someone from SW Ohio (Cincy, Dayton) plan the first leg, have someone from C-bus plan the 2nd leg, have someone from Mansfield/Canton plan the third and have someone from Cleveland plan the last leg, and vice versa back. Does this sound like a good idea, or is there one person who wants to plan the whole trip. My thought was this way, people can join us throughout the day, and maybe end up back in Cbus and get a bite to eat to end the day.

Any thoughts?

What type of roads are we looking for? I know some good posted 55mph twisties cutting from C-bus through east central OH & up towards Canton, but that might be a bit out of the way for members in the NW part of the state.

Starting in Dayton would be fine, I doubt the cincy people would mind. I am orginally from Dayton, so I know the area....RT 40/National Rd would be a good route. I manage Bob Evans restaurants, my plan was to find stores along the way, and arrange for a place to meet up and rest, get a drink and relax for a min or two.

If that's the case, Dayton, to Cbus...to Canton...

Dayton to Cbus - 70miles, 1 and 1/2 hours
Cbus to Canton/Akron - 140miles, 2 and 1/2 hours

That would be enough for me for the day...lol...but up to you guys on what you think.

Somewhere I've got a map form Bob Evans w/all their locations on it. Really should keep in in the car. I know there's one in Coshocton that we'd pretty much drive right past on the route I was thinking about. I also have family in Dayton, so I could crash the night before & be there for the start, so that's work for me.

That sounds like a good idea to me, Dayton is just over an hour for me so would be about the same overall drive to there or columbus. I also thought it may be a good idea that if one of us know of a spot or 2 that would be suitable for taking still pics of our cars, like overlooking a city or something that would be really cool. We have a spot here that kinda gave me that idea but of course Chillicothe is way out of the way.
