It might help if I post a pic of my car. I've had it about 6 weeks and she was stock. OSUTX440, you get up around Tipp City often? I stop by there and get Hickory River Smokehouse every so often. I'm in Troy more often than Tipp. This pic is from between Troy and Piqua.
Hey Cruzer, I'm down at the south end of Dayton in Springboro. That's one beautiful Mustang you have there!
Just got my "second chance" Mustang in January after stupidly selling my '05 GT convertible in 2019. Know of any shows or cruises coming up in the Dayton area this season?
My '06 GT convertible 5 speed. I like it even more than my first Mustang!
I'm hoping to find some events in the area. I know of a couple small towns that have car shows, but not Mustang specific. I'm hoping the Piqua Mall has a car show this year. I'd like to enter my Mustang. I was trying to see if Greenville was having their Broadway cruise in this year. Covid killed everything last year, but they were cruising the strip in a couple towns up this way. I usually stay north of Dayton. I don't miss the city traffic.
That's a nice looking convertible. It looks like those wheels are staggered in that first pic. I'm having trouble deciding on wheels for this car. I'm not crazy about the options I'm seeing.
These are indeed staggered wheels. I didn't think I'd like 20" wheels on a Mustang, but they're really seem to work with the other appearance mods that were done by the prior owner. Wheel choices do seem to be scarce for our vehicles, especially if you're looking for anything chrome. Personally, I like your wheels, you can see your rotors very well; maybe try black lugs to see if makes a more uniform color scheme?
Welcome back, OSUTX440! Sorry to hear of your challenges, but glad you've made it through! That's quite a nice Roush Pony you have there! Wishing you many miles of smiles!
