well I'm an hour behind you in Dayton so I would prefer meeting sooner on the path as opposed to further up it. I get lonely.

No interest was originally given on this though so now that there is, I am going to have to get this one by the boss with not a lot of notice. Could be a difficult thing. (My wife.. not work.. I am the boss at work.. my wife is the boss at home... its the way life is for a married man with kids)

You know I'll be there. I'm planning on arriving at Summit at 7:30am. I have to work third shift the night before so I'll either be exhausted or wired (energy drinks, lol)

 

Does meeting on 17th ave. at the McDonalds east of the State fairgrounds sound OK to anyone thinking about going? Is 6:15am too early to meet there?
I understand that we need to get to the show early to get a good parking spot. If we leave McDonalds a little after 6am we'd be rolling into the show at about 8:45am. show starts officially at 9am. It'd be nice if whoever goes could park in the same area.

6am... holy shizzle sticks! Ya know, I never, even once, took into consideration the time. In order to be there at that McD's where, coincidentally I taught my friend how to drive stick in the hotel behind its parking lot years ago, I would have to leave my house at about 4:45am. Which then means I gotta get up around 3:45am - 4am. I can tell you with complete certainty that at that point, I would be damn near dead passed out and most certainly still slightly drunk.

 

Could always see about a hotel the night before...there are a few just down 77 near 76 that are about 15 mins from summit

What do you think about smarty-alec Czar's suggestion to go friday eve, and get a hotel? I'd be up for that.
You know there's always gotta be a smart-alec in the crowd... Why didn't I think of that.
