If we leave the Buckeye Lake area at 9am or so, we'll be at the Newcomerstown meet up place between 10:15 & 10:30. Then I think that puts us in Salem just before noon. Test n tune entry fee is $20.
bty, is that a truck stop or what there on the southwest side of that exit? Is that where you want to meet?

Yeah, there's a truck stop, McD's & a BP at that corner. I'll probably top off my tank there.

Only if you're racing. $7 for spectators. $25 for a car full.

Sounds great. I guess I will pay the 20 just in case. Tom, do you have a good route planned?

No, I just used yahoo maps. 2 possible routes:

I-70E to I-77N, to Newcomerstown meet-up (all freeways)
or
Rt-79 to Newark, Rt-16 to Coshocton, Rt-36 to I-77N meet-up (divided 4-lane, more scienic, a little shorter, same driving time).
What's y'er pleasure?
Funny we still haven't gotten any more local interest...... Should be fun, and a good chance to run whatcha brung for $20.

If you're going the 2nd route I can meet up w/you either in Coshocton or the interchange between SR 16 & SR 60, depending if I'm at the clinic or at home. Though I might suggest taking 79 clear to SR 541 if you want a twistier ride than 16, which is mostly divided highway, 55-65 mph. If you're going freeways then it's Newcomerstown for me.

Lets see what Matt wants to do.
We'll leave I-70 / Rt.37 at 9am. A leisurely drive up Rt.79 might be fun, but it makes for a long day.

Ok, lets just settle on this.
Let's go up Rt79 to Rt541 and take the scienic route, and meet Fridge somewhere along Rt36 near Coshocton. before we get on I-77N to Salem.
We can find Baker at the track, and afterwards go to that restaurant for somethin' to eat before we go back home (or stay overnite someplace).
Cool ??
