New Stang guy in Ohio.
Whats up. I just purchased a 1988 50. Im out of Chillicothe Ohio. The car needs work but I need a new hobby.... And so it begins. Let me know when you guys are out and about and I'll try to make it.

Some of us will be out May 10th for a cruise...check out the link in the forums. I know some of us hit the track from time to time...I would like to hit one soon...lol.

I shall not be. Son has a soccer game. I can't miss kids events. Also, he can kick my *** at soccer, for some reason, he's just extremely good at it. Fun to watch him work. It's funny, as the adult, you always let your kids win even though you kinda make it hard on them. I do just that as well. For some reason though, in soccer, that little bastard can actually beat me.

I'm am leaving for a fishing trip May 11th so I will not be able to attend that cruise. Maybe the next one..
Once I finish changing the ERG cooler on my Excursion the Stang is going into the garage. I am going to pull the motor and hit the rust spots in the engine bay. Its going to get a fresh paint job.
I have ordered some parts and still searching for others.
- TF TW170 heads
- Still looking for a stage two Cam
- Found a used TF Series R intake for $400 shipped to my door on this site.
- Ordered my computer and wiring harness for my MAF conversion. Still looking for TB and MAF sensor.
When I bought the car the guy told me and showed me receipts for it being punched 30 over to a 306 and it had a cam. He was going to carb it but never got around to it. He also said the car had gears and suspension. Just a lot of unknowns till I get into it.
So my plans are to have a nice street car.

We are going to Basswood lake, MN, Northern Pike Fish for a week! 2 1/2 hour boat riding in and other around for at least 50 miles! We are actually on our way now! I'll post some pictures when I get back! 40+ inch Pike!!
