Default 2010 Mustangforums.com Meet and Greet - Oklahoma

Alright. Looks like most of our folks are in the OKC/Tulsa areas.

Anyone have any suggestions for a time of year/location for a meet and greet? I'm thinking we need to look ahead to October or even the first part of November as hot as it already is.

I had thought about one of the Bass Pro shops - they seem car friendly and have had their own car shows in the past. I have no problem hounding management to see if they'll let us use a portion of the parking lot.

Anyone interested in participating in a cruise later that day?

Default New To Club

I am new to the club and haven't actually gotten my hands on a Mustang yet. I am looking at a 66 and a 69 right now. Both out of state purchases but I wanted to see if I could find something local. Interested is a good project car that do not need too much work. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Im here in Moore. There's a bass pro down in bricktown and i love that place (i'm a country boy, hunt, fish, 4 wheel, all that). I'm going to Nashville for college in August to go to Nashville Auto Diesel College (check this place out, they have 3 courses based solely on high perf.) but i'd gladly drive the 11 hours back to OKC to attend a mustang show at bass pro if my mustang is done. (dont tell, but i'll be building a beefy 460ci blown motor for my stang while im in nashville) the 302's only temporary *wink wink. dont tell the state troopers in Arkansas neither, they already got me for speeding haha

There are a number of us in Ttown and a Bass Pro here. Give a shout if this happens. I've met Mustangfanatic and HaV for sushi, but, haven't met Tanner or any of the other Tulsa gang.

I'd be up for a meet and greet. Is this actually going to happen? Details please.

It's gonna be a bit before I can even think about getting this together - I live in Atoka, OK - my family lives four miles south - in Tushka. We are currently spending our free time running chainsaws and piling up debris in the wake of the tornadoes that came through Friday night. But I will do my best to get this together ASAP.
