Hey guys just wanted to intro myself I am in tulsa I have a 66, pretty much a novice at rebuilding but Im gettin there.... I have been workin out problems one at a time but am stuck on one if anyone can help my power steering is heavy one way and normal the other , one guy told me this was just an adjustment but im thinkin its the centrelink which incorporates the control valve....

So I know I am a few months late on this thread, but I found it interesting because my 68 seems to do the same thing.

I'm thinking it could be my tie rods (I'm actually quite certain that's what it is). I'm certainly no expert, but I know that's what's wrong with mine. When I turn right, all of a sudden, it feels like it breaks over and jerks the car to the right.

Is this similar to what you had goin on? Did you fix it yet??
