In the first race, the new mustang swept 1-2! I hope this will be a good year for these new Mustangs! You can catch the video of the race this saturday , 11am Eastern! unfortunately where i live now I dont have speed channell.. Someone be a dear and record it for me =P

scheduled to record on my tivo. i can make a vcr tape, if that works for you.

the official grand-am website site has a very interesting discussion of the Mustang GT cup car on the message board. the long and short of it is, the Mustang GT uses a crate racing motor, rather than starting with a stock motor and working it over. some people are very upset about this. pages and pages of discussion from team owners/drivers/etc.

Haha interestign I will have to check that out. I am having my dad record the episode with his computer, he has a TV card. Yeah the mustang is using the new cammer engine... I dont know the speicifics of the rules but I will go check that out.
