Mychron 3 PLUS (by aim)

IMHO, AIM/MYCHRON is tops. I dont like alfano stuff... I dont liek the layout oif the display and they are a PITA to use. Aim/Mychrons west coast tech support is awesome (its east coast guys nobody likes )

For cars, youll probably want an extreme version or one even more highend

the plus has 2 temp inputs, tach, speed, max/min temp warnign lights for each input, shift light setup (led for each shift point) and a shift position (to tell you what gear your in at the moment) The plus has the same features but a bit more memory and optional lateral G force for track mapping.

The extreme has more inputs for different temps and guages

Depends on what you are racing? For karting definetly the Mycron 3 or now the 4. http://www.aimsports.com/

When it comes to a full out race car you can't go wrong with stack. http://www.stackltd.com/
