Thumbs up Looking for a good shop in Montco PA area. Help?

Greetings...just picked up a stock 90 GT convert. after being out of the car scene for a while. Picked up some MM subframe connectors and need to have them welded in. I'm in upper Montgomery Co. PA and wanted to see if some locals could point me in the right direction to a shop who knows what they're doing with Mustangs/Fox bodies. Any help would be appreciated!

Anyone had their subframes welded in and liked the work/price by an exhaust shop/general repair shop, etc and would refer the business to others needing the same work performed in this area?

I could refer you to the shop that I had mine done. they do really good work, but for you, they would be over 4 hrs away

Thanks for the offer Shadow, but I was hoping for something just a wee bit closer than that. I figure someone could refer a local muffler or transmission shop where they had work done and were satisfied with the outcome.

no problem, hopefully someone chimes in. Some locals around your area might be able to point you in the right direction. that is how I found some of the shops that are good in my area

I'm hoping so. It's been almost 10 years from my last Mustang to this one and a lot has changed in that time with the economy flushing out a lot of smaller shops. Figured it's not major or very technical work, but I've spoken with a few muffler shops locally and got the "what are you talking about?" look when I asked about installation of the subframes. No thanks.

man thats nuts considering so many people on here do subframe connectors, you think places would be familiar with them. well if you dont have any luck and feel like making a weekend trip to get them on (he might need to keep your car overnight) then let me know

Thanks Shadow. Hoping either something will pop up. In the interim, I'll keep talking/calling around.
