nitrous questions
i found a kit for sale locally its a 75 shot for a efi mustang now my question is how does it work with the mas air flow sensor my car is a 89 lx with a 5-speed i just got it this last weekend took it to IRP (Indianapolis raceway park) and ran a 14.6 and the car has 80k on a rebuild, headers and full exh. thats it yea i was shocked so now i want to be in the 13s and i think nos and gears will put me there. can i mount it on the t/b like shown on this forum? im pretty sure running a 75 shot i wont have to worry about fuel or timing right?
please help me out
thanks

i'm sure that hurts your feelings too.
anyways, w/ 75 dry, timing should be about 10* unless it's real cool out, and you have 92+ octane. then you can get away w/ 12* but 10* is safer.
close the plugs to about .040"
leave the tb coolant alone unless you block the hole from the upper to lower , it'll run too phat from that.
nothing to do w/ the mass air, you squrit it through the tb and fp spikes from vac. if your looking at a kit that squirts b4 the mass air, then it's probably the compucar bottle-in-a-bag kit
it's ok, but you want a fixed kit that squirts through the tb. i would pass on the BIAB kit.
and your fine w/ stock pump and inj. but a 190 is a good pump to have for safety (unless your fp is fairly new now)
WOW i was hoping to hear your words of wisdom nitrous_bob ive seen on the other posts that you know your s$#^ about nitrous but thats amazing news also im gonna put subframe connectors, god she needs them hahaha if you have any other info about running nos i would be happy to hear it
THANKS ALOT nitrous_bob and everyone else

well the subframe connectors are nice, but if your running a cheater slick (you need to anyways, so plan on it) lca's you need more.
i ran 12.50's on a 75 shot, 13.20's NA w/ my '89 notch , bone stock motor, 4.10's , 26 X 10.5 et streets, southsides(never get them , they suck) , long tubes and flowmaster 2 1/2" catback.
i like the hpm megabite jr's best of anything out there , you will get different opinions from many, and a lot is personal preferance.
not too many suggestions on the juice, i like dry kits, i like to keep it safe (no spraying crazy like 150 w/ stock fuel system), watch your plugs , very important you need to read them, they will tell if your leaning out. phat is no big deal...robs a few ponies but ensures your safe. lean will make you burn a hole in your piston if you let the plug melt from running too lean. the plug will go first, but it can go very fast.
shoot me a pm if you have trouble on the install....it is 100 times easier than it sounds by the instructions....
also check the holley site and link to NOS if you wanna check some good reading, and look at the install guide.
