On my 1998 4.6? I know LT's are better, but I also know the engine has to be pulled. Can I install ST's without pulling the motor? If not... can it be done by jacking it up an inch or two and moving it side to side instead of pulling it?

u dont have to pull the engine to install long tubes...you might have to drop the k-member though

03...... I saw JBA's, but $250 for FMS shorties was too hard to pass up.

And yeah.. I head the magna set up... nice, but not what I'm looking for. Everyone claims magnas are nice b/c they're quiet at idle and LOUD at under acceleration. I want pretty much the opposite w/ out that god damn drone! So I heard Macs w/ Magnas and was in love. But if they have a drone.. I will rip them off the car... drag them into the backyard.... and UNLOAD my Beretta 391 into them w/ 00 Buckshot.. (get the hint that I don't like the infamous 2,000RPM drone?)

 

Magnas are the only mufflers I have heard that don't drone. Get your gun cleaned and loaded I think i hear gun shots in the distance!

 

Thanks Silver. I was just doing some more HW and read people complaining about the drone w/ macs. SO...... It looks like I'm going magna all the way! Although.. I really wanna put packs on my car, I DO NOT wanna get pulled over! Attention is good, but not from cops!

 

That's what the clutch is for. They should call it a quiteing peddle. I have been stop several times for various things but never for my exhaust. They have told me to keep it quite though!
