Default Dyno Tune

I just had a 5 psi Vortech SC installed, along with a Trcik Flow Street upper/lower intake, 190 lph fuel pump, C&l 73 MM MAF, a professional products 70 MM TB, and wanted to see what people thought about getting a duyno tune now, or waiting until I get 24 lb. injectors. It might be a bit until I get injectors, since I just had the intake intsalled. I know I should have done it then.

Any input?

get it tuned before and after. not a good idea to run any car with forced induction untuned. even if it is only 5psi.

Will do and appreciate the recommendation. It seems to be runnign fine, but not up to it's full potential.

then you don't need to tune until you get the new injectors and a afpr....which is the proper setup. fmu's are garbage but it will be fine for the time being

Is afpr an automatic fuel pressure regulator? If so, I have one of those installed already.

close...adjustable fuel pressure reg. well then all you need is bigger injectors and a tune. i would get bigger than 24#, you will eventually want to pulley down so you should leave more room to grow

That's what I meant. Brain cramp. What size injectors do you think would be appropriate and until I do this, you think I'm cool without a tune?

yes with the fmu you will be fine for now...you're not getting the performance vs. having a chip/tune but your motor will at least be safe and i'm sure you're making decent power. i would get a pulley to run 10psi and 42#'s and then get it tuned
